Rice Krispie Treats-13

First, make yourself a batch of rice krispie treats. Make sure you follow the directions so that they come out nice and soft. Too crunchy and they just wont work! After that use a cookie cutter to cut out some fun shapes. I make sure to cut them while they are fresh. It’s a lot easier and you can reform the leftovers to keep cutting.

  5. How cool…love this color for treats!!

  6. Do you melt the chocolate before putting it in the bottles? Or microwave it in the bottle itself? I thought it was dangerous for food to be in contact with warm plastic? Sorry for my ignorance… just would love to do this, and have never dealt with “melting chocolate.” Thanks for any help you can offer!

    • Hi Margaret!
Great question! Micheal’s Craft Stores sells an entire melting chocolate section that includes these microwave/food safe bottles and little chocolates in tons of colors:0) Have you been there before? The little discs go into the bottles and you melt them in the microwave for about 30-1 minute:0) It’s super easy and you can get as creative as you please! Hope this helps!
